I just wanted to thank everyone for a wonderful time on DA, but it's time for me to move on to bigger and better things.  Thanks for sharing your great art.  We've had a few tears, but mostly a lot of laughs and for me it was worth every second of my time.  Not sure if I will ever wander back in these parts of the Internet, but if I do I've kept a few names and I'll get in touch once again.  If not, you'll always be a part of my memories.  I'm sorry if I snapped at anyone, I have my moods like we all do.  I wish all of you the best not only in your art endeavors but in life as well.  I didn't want to leave without saying goodbye.  I'll stop back to read anything anyone has left before I close the account down. 

You usually get what you look for in life, so look for the good in people and be grateful for every step forward in time.  It's been a party!!  No throwing asparagus, it's fine with me if you swap gum, keep a happy heart, and remember to always  dance with life!

It was brought to my attention that there is a show on Netflix titled “13 Reasons Why”. As of yet I have not personally watched the show. It is based on the suicide of a young girl who leaves 13 cassette tapes behind, each of which is to one of the persons who contributed to her reasoning for the suicide.  From my understanding, the show does many things right and was put out with good intentions, however, it has extremely graphic scenes on issues of rape and drug abuse, it addresses teen pressures, however it does not address certain issues such as Mental Illness  and in the end is said to glamorize the act of suicide.

Several suicide prevention groups, along with experts in the field are warning that this can potentially be a dangerous show for youths because of its "triggering effect".  I’ve supplied a few links below for more information.  Please do your part in making sure that this news gets circulated and that those who have thoughts of suicide know who they can approach to get help. I would recommend watching the video by Roy Petitfils.
